By helping us connect with chocolate lovers around the globe, you'll play an integral role in our mission to make the world a sweeter place. **About the role**: We’re looking for energetic, vibrant individual to help us to Enchant the World with Chocolate. As a Merchandiser working **Wednesday to Friday** approximately **12-16 hours per week** which may increase during Christmas and Easter. You will be responsible for covering the **Preston, Brunswick & Coburg areas** within Grocery stores. You will also support the Lindt Field Sales team in spreading the word about the wonders of Lindt by: - Building strong relationships with our retail partners across multiple locations - Supporting the distribution of new products; - Tracking promotional compliance - Assembling standout displays (point of sale) - Stocking shelves with the Chocolate our customers long for - Executing merchandising standards of excellence - Reporting back on store and consumer insights - Identifying in-store display opportunities to drive increased brand exposure and sales volumes Put simply, our Merchandisers ensure we stand out from the crowd and that our chocolate is front and centre - available for all to enjoy On top of this, you'll meet lots of interesting people, have the opportunity to develop your sales career, and have fun whilst working in a supportive team environment Key duties include: - Monitoring and maintaining promotional activities, ticketing, layouts, ranging and assembling standout displays (point of sale) - Monitoring the sales performance of existing and newly released lines and communicating issues to the Area Manager - Developing and nurturing relationships with key stakeholders - Maintaining existing shelf space and facings, including stocking shelves, removal and replacement of shelving - Stock rotation / cleaning / maintenance. **What you will bring**: - Previous grocery retail experience, ideally as a sales merchandiser or representative - Confidence and commitment to work autonomously - Ability to build strong customer relationships - Strong communication skills - Ability to productively plan and organise your working week - Don’t mind getting some exercise in your day, whilst moving stock and building displays - A current "full" driver's license and vehicle. - Live locally to the **Preston or surrounding**areas - Please note that our selection process for this role includes a pre-employment medical._ **_ What we can offer you:_** - A 50% Discount Card for use at our Retail Stores & online eShop - An emphasis on a positive environment, allowing career and personal growth, celebrating your achievements and recognising your successes - An engaging and creative workplace full of passionate individuals that embraces diversity and thinking differently - A priority on maintaining a healthy work/life balance Are you ready to_ Enchant the World with Chocolate?_ **We'd love to get to know you
