Reporting to the Manager, Terms of Trade you will join the Experience Analysis and Terms of Trade team who produce detailed biometric analyses and assumptions of the Life business experience using detailed knowledge of the life insurance market and actuarial practice.

The vision of the team is to be an important contributor of valuable insights which can be used to drive the business to be successful.

**Your Role**
- Review, maintain and develop the experience analysis and terms of trade tools and methodology
- Process data and calculations as part of the experience analysis process
- Analyse the results of experience analyses and other aspects of MRA’s portfolio
- Investigate and understand the underlying business drivers and provide insights
- Review, maintain and develop specific terms of trade for both pricing and valuation
- Provide stakeholders with assumption and related recommendations
- Present experience analyses and assumption proposals to internal and external clients
- Present insights and corresponding business actions/ideas to stakeholders
- Contribute to implementations, special projects or quotation support

**Your Profile**
- Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries of Australia (or equivalent)
- At least 3 years’ life insurance actuarial experience
- Ability to interpret and articulate valuable insights
- Curiosity, creativity and continuous development focus
- Ability and confidence to make decisions, even with a lack of available data
- Advanced Excel (including VBA), Word, and analytical tools
- Proficient in R or Python
