- QML Pathology is part of Healius’ Pathology division, one of Australia’s leading providers of private medical laboratory and pathology services. We operate about 100 medical laboratories and 2,000 patient collection centres across metropolitan, regional and remote Australia. Each year, we provide one in every three pathology services in Australia, extending from exclusively servicing some of Australia’s largest and most complex private and public hospitals to small and remote Australian Aboriginal communities.**About the role**
- We are seeking an individual who is highly motivated to become part of a passionate and engaged team. Your key responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, the following:
- Routine courier runs predominantly for the pickup and delivery of pathology samples including urgent specimens, blood products, test results and clinical waste
- Liaising between Referring Medical Practitioners and the Medical Liaison Officer with regards to store orders
- Processing, packing and delivery of supplies to Medical Practitioners as required
- Preparation and delivery of reports and stock control in main laboratory
- Maintaining patient confidentiality and integrity
- Compliance and adherence with Policies and Procedures, Work Health and Safety Procedures and Quality Assurance processes

**About you**
- To be considered for this position, you will need to have a great blend of skills, including:
- A current full (unrestricted) driver licence is required
- Previous experience delivering an exceptional customer experience
- Excellent communication and time management skills
- Physical capability to be able to manage a minimum of 30 stops per day
- Ability to follow instructions and use initiative to make sound decisions
- Vaccine preventable disease evidence such as Hepatitis B and COVID-19 are a requirement of this role
- Previous courier experience is considered highly advantageous
