Our client is a busy and growing civil construction company currently experiencing steady growth and increased workloads due to winning new projects. As a result, they require a Project/Safety Administrator who can work full time in their office based in Sydney.
**The Role**
Project/Safety Administrator, you will be providing administrative support services to the company’s workshop helping to ensure the administrative activities meet organization's requirements and objectives.

**Duties and Responsibilities of the Role**
- Working with Project Manager, Construction Manager, Site Supervisors and Engineers to ensure that goals are met.
- Advising senior management on matters requiring attention and implementing their decisions
- Preparing and reviewing submissions and reports concerning activities and milestones
- Sharing relevant documentation and reports with project teams
- Manage an effective filing system.
- Manage new employee inductions and ensure all new employee paperwork is completed and placed into new employee files.
- Set up new DAMSTRA employee inductions.
- Administer and monitor the provision of external services to the project, including managing and reporting on the allocation of stationary, courier and other costs
- Co-ordinate and organize any travel bookings, accommodation and airport pickups/drop off as required
- Undertake general administrative duties such as data entry, word processing, photocopying and document control via TeamBinder.
- Coordinate social activities, celebrations and open days.
- Assist other team members as reasonably required.
**About you**
- At least 2+ years of administrative experience, ideally from a company that operates in a similar field of civils, or construction.
- Knowledge in administrative procedures and practices, with background in invoicing, accounting, and general office administration.
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
- Highly proficient in the use of information technology systems such as Microsoft Office.
- Good problem solving and analytical skill with high attention to detail.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality in terms of personnel records and personal information.
- Strong customer service skills.
