**Company Overview**: My client is a leading manufacturer and a reputable pump repair business. Located in Smeaton Grange, NSW, they are currently expanding their Pump Repair Shop and seek a dedicated Pump Fitter to join the team.

This is a full-time position that offers the opportunity to work with a wide range of pumps, including centrifugal, multi-stage, and submersible pumps used in various industries, particularly mining.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Fitting and machining centrifugal, multi-stage, and submersible pumps, with a focus on mining pumps.
- Overhauling pumps received from clients, including major customers such as BHP.
- Stripping, disassembling, cleaning, and machining pump components.
- Performing repairs and reassembling pumps to meet industry standards.
- Fitter trade background is essential.
- Proven experience in pump fitting, with expertise in a wide variety of pumps.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.

**Additional Information**:

- **Location**: Smeaton Grange, NSW.
- **Role**: Workshop-based position.
- **Hours**: 7:30 am - 3:00 pm.
- **Overtime**: Available upon request.
- **Hourly Rate**: negotaioble - very attractive and above market rate
