We are looking for experienced Mechanical Fitters for ongoing projects at Potts Points. The projects will involve the installation and maintenance work of mechanical systems commonly found onboard large commercial and military vessels.

**Responsibilities**:

- Conduct repair and maintenance on engines, propulsion systems, pumps, valves, motors, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
- Carryout isolation procedures and work in accordance with the work permit
- Diagnosing, repairing and replacing defective parts on fixed equipment
- Collaborate with other contractors and trades to complete mechanical installations to specifications.

**Requirements**:

- Mechanical Trade Qualified
- Construction Induction Card
- Experience with industrial Pumps, Valves, Motors, Hydraulic and Pneumatic systems
- Safety conscious and adhere to company and site safety policies and practices

**Desirables**:

- Marine or Heavy Engineering experience
- Confined Space ticket
- Working at Heights ticket
- HRW Licence - Rigging

The applicant will be required to undergo a National Police Check for security clearance purposes.
