**$1000 Sign On Bonus**: - ** From $32.25 PLUS Salary Packaging**: - ** Supportive team environment / training opportunities** **About the role** The Assistant Coordinator is responsible for working closely with the Coordinator to provide programs for children aged 5 - 12 years in Before School Care & After School Care and Vacation Care at our Forestville location. This is a **permanent part time position**. **Why we want you;** - You are passionate about making a difference in children's lives - You thrive in a leadership role - You have experience in caring for children in a similar environment - You pride yourself on your professional attitude and presentation **What your days will look like;** - Working in support of the coordinator on administrative tasks and efficient day to day operation of the service. - Regularly evaluating the program to ensure it caters for the interests and needs of school age children and meets the requirements of the 'My Time - Our Place' Framework. - Ensure Compliance and best practice programming under the National Quality Standards and Regulations. - Advising families about the program, policies and procedures when required. - Where appropriate take on the role of Educational Leader within the service, providing guidance and support. - Working in support of the coordinator on administrative tasks and efficient day to day operation of the service. **What you will need to be successful;** - Qualifications or significant experience in working in outside school hours care. - Skills and experience in team leadership. - Completion of the "Identify & Respond to Children and Young People at Risk" certificate. - Current First Aid certification/CPR certification/Asthma and Anaphylaxis. - Working With Children Check. - National Criminal History Check. **Culture and Benefits** Please find attached a video about what it means to work at CatholicCare.
