**What you will do**: Aspect Vern Barnett school is looking for passionate teachers to join our incredible teaching team. You will be located at Forestville or one of our satellite classes in the area. We are looking for individuals who enjoy working collaboratively, have a strong ability to differentiate and cater for the individual’s strengths and interests. We are committed to growing and developing our staff in a supportive environment. Aspect are leaders in education for children on the autism spectrum. You will help create a learning environment that tailors to the individual needs of students through evidence informed best practice in autism. Class sizes are small and you always have the assistance of a dedicated teacher aide. You will learn about the ACA which is Aspects comprehensive approach to the way we support people. You will work closely in a team that includes the student, family, teacher aide and other professionals such as our school psychologist, speech therapists and occupational therapists to develop and deliver quality learning programs. **About the School**:Aspect Vern Barnett School provides placement for approximately 100 students on the autism spectrum from ages 4 to 16 years from Forestville, as well as from 5 satellite classes within the Catholic and Department of Education schools in Sydney’s northern suburbs. **What we are looking for**:

- NESA registration to teach in NSW
- Special Education qualification/s are preferred
- Secondary teaching qualification highly desirable
- Experience working with students on the autism spectrum or an intellectual disability preferred
- NSW Working With Children Check clearance for paid employment
- A current driver's license
