Classification: HS3
Salary per hour (exc. super): $37.68
Hours per fortnight: 45.60

**Role Description**

The Contracts Officer provides technical and professional specialist support in the preparation of contracts, agreements and tenders relating to the procurement of goods and services to programmes and services within Bendigo Health and the Loddon Mallee Region.

**The Team**

The Finance and Resources Division is responsible for financial functions, including reporting, budgeting, forecasting, performance monitoring and analysis, together with our procurement, materials management and facilities management functions.

The Procurement Services Department is responsible for providing Specialist Procurement Services and facilitating the negotiation, preparation and management of all contracts relating to the procurement of services including:

- All contracts, agreements and tenders relating to the procurement of goods and services to all programmes and services within Bendigo Health, Mildura Base Public Hospital (MBPH) and other Health Services within the Loddon Mallee region;
- Reducing present supply costs and limiting future increases across Bendigo Health;
- Compliance with Health Share Victoria Purchasing Policies;
- Providing Specialist Procurement Services to Health Services in the Loddon Mallee region as required.
