**About the team**

Our Central and North Regional team members are the face of NSW TrainLink, ensuring our customers have a great experience using our services. In these roles you’ll be working closely with the customers and other stakeholders to ensure everyone is well supported on their journey and are provided with an exceptional service.

**Multiple opportunities available**

Right now, we have multiple opportunities for **Passenger Attendants** and **Customer Service Attendants** to work alongside our friendly and committed team based at** **Central Station. We’re looking for people who are committed to delivering a high standard of customer service, using their excellent interpersonal and communication skills to support our customers’ needs. We need people who can work well under pressure when there’s a hazard or incident to ensure the safety of our customers and crew.

**Customer Service Attendants**

Your key responsibilities are but not limited to:

- Providing customer service and responding to enquiries on the platform
- Process ticket sales and assist with customers luggage
- Ensuring the safety of all passengers and their belongings while at the station
- Assisting passengers with their luggage to board trains and connecting services
- Ensuring that the station presentation is maintained to a high quality, cleaning and maintenance of the premises

**Passenger Attendants**

Your key responsibilities are but not limited to:

- Providing customer service and assistance to passengers and staff
- Check in passengers and assist with luggage
- Ensuring the safety of all passengers
- On-board cleaning including cleaning public on-board amenities
- Travel to a variety of destinations which may include overnight stays

These roles will require you to work across a rotating shift work roster including weekends and public holidays. You may also be required to work additional hours at short notice with the potential for overtime.

**About you**

We are looking for passionate self-motivated individuals with solid work ethics, who also have a strong problem-solving ability, as well as exceptional interpersonal skills and are able to work well under pressure to ensure the safety of our customers and crew.

**Essential criteria**

This is an Aboriginal-identified role as it involves the development and delivery of services and programs which impact or require liaison with Aboriginal people and/or communities

**Salary and benefits**
- Sydney Central Customer Service Attendant Level 1 receives $1,113.80 per week
- Passenger Attendant receives $1,134.70 per week plus shift allowances
