**Food Service Assistant - Casual in Aged Care Facilities**

As a Food Service Assistant, your positive, can-do, customer-focused attitude will ensure that patients in your care enjoy their dining experience.

**Working as part of the kitchen, you will provide support across the following**:
Plating and delivery of patient meals

Dishwashing and general and specific cleaning duties.

Engaging with our patients, providing genuine, patient-centred customer service.

Replenish stock, monitor, and record Food Safety Records as per Food Safety Plan

Advise shift supervisors of any Food Safety Record discrepancies immediately

**To succeed in this role, you will have**:
Hold a current Police Check & Food Handling Certificate.

Must-Have Working with Children Check

Must Have All Three Covid Vaccines and Current Flu Vaccination

Be well presented, well-groomed with good personal hygiene practices

Experienced in a food service role, preferably within the Facility environment.

Be able to participate in rotating rosters and shift work

Understand or be willing to learn the dietary needs of patients.

Available for on-call shifts

- Werribee VIC: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Food Handling Certificate (required)
