About the opportunity

We have several Casual positions available working within the Food Services team as a Food Services Assistant.Located at Werribee Mercy Hospital- Reporting to the Food & Environmental Manager and Head Chef.

What you’ll bring- Experience in a similar role- Must have a current Food Handling Certificate- Demonstrate time management and organisational skills.- Ability to work as a team member.- High standard of verbal and written communication skills.- Ability to understand patients diet codes and modified meals.- A commitment to policies and procedures in order to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.- Ability to complete daily Food Safety documentation.

You will also be required to provide evidence of, or in the process of obtaining:
- A current Police Record Check and Working with Children Check.- Current COVID-19 certificate, proof of current influenza vaccination and other vaccination status consistent with public health orders
