**About the role**
We're seeking a dynamic Change Lead to join our team at the Transformation Office, where you'll play a pivotal role in driving successful change initiatives. Reporting to the Manager Change, you'll spearhead the development and execution of robust change management strategies to ensure seamless transitions and maximum employee adoption. Your expertise will be instrumental in influencing and guiding our organisation through transformational journeys.

This 12-month contract will work closely with the City’s Strategy & Performance team primarily supporting the implementation of a software solution that supports the tracking and reporting of performance against the City's strategic documents.

Key Position Responsibilities:

- Manage key training deliverables, including needs analysis and the planning & development of training activities, ensuring successful change implementation.
- Oversee end-to-end change and communication activities, identifying and addressing potential issues or risks.
- Provide professional change management advice, backed by thorough research and analysis.
- Provide progress reports to senior leaders and project governance bodies.
- Engage and support leaders and teams to achieve successful change adoption.
- Facilitate and coach leaders in change leadership practices.
- Mentor team members to enhance professional competence and collective knowledge.
- Develop and implement Change & Communications Management Strategies and Plans.
- Plan and deliver stakeholder engagement activities to ensure stakeholder needs are met.
- Prepare reports, briefings, and presentations to support change objectives.

**About you**
To be successful in this role, you will have
- Postgraduate qualifications in relevant fields or equivalent experience.
- Certification as Change Management Practitioner (Prosci or similar).
- Demonstrated experience in leading large-scale change projects.
- Proficiency in developing and implementing change and communication strategies.
- Strong communication and facilitation skills.

Desirable:

- Certification in Project Management methodology.
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.
- Experience in local or state government processes.
