**About the role**

An exciting immediate opportunity for a Technical Sales Representative to join our Customer Service team based in our Brisbane plant located in Capalaba. We are preferably looking for an experienced Technical Sales Representative but will consider someone with the relevant skill set. You will join a supportive and professional team who take pride in exceptional service and providing our customers with the best experience possible. You will be responsible for managing customer relationships and coordinating jobs. The role is Permanent Full-time (Monday - Friday, 9am - 5pm) A great opportunity to develop & progress in your career and be an integral part of MCC’s world class premium label solutions.

Responsibilities include:

- Improving the existing sales processes to be fully in line with the group’s global best practices.
- Accelerate culture change where sales excellence, continuous improvement and new business development is embedded into the newly acquired business.
- Assessing customers' needs and recommending and explaining goods and services to them
- Monitoring customers' changing needs and reporting these developments to sales management
- Quoting and negotiating prices and credit terms, and completing contracts and recording orders
- Arranging delivery of goods, Coordinate and negotiate delivery dates
- Reporting to sales management on sales made and the marketability of goods and services
- Following up with clients to ensure satisfaction with goods and services purchased, and resolving any problems arising
- Preparing sales reports and maintaining and submitting records of business expenses incurred
- Support new and existing customers with their new, more complex and technical projects.
- Manage processing orders from the account management team
- Work alongside graphics department coordinating client artwork for our production team
- Work between departments to verify specifications ready for production
- Centralising communication and liaising with the Operations team

**About you**
- Relevant experience of 2-5 years in a technical sales, pre-sales or customer service role.
- Relevant tertiary education preferred.
- Knowledge of the labelling industry is regarded as a major plus given the focus on implementing best practices
- Strong B2B Customer Service and communication skills
- Numerical aptitude with a high level of attention to detail
- Excellent time management, organisational skills & an ability to multitask
- Team player with a mature & willing to learn attitude
- An understanding of quality practices and procedures (preferred)
- Confident & self-motivated
- Works well both autonomously & engages collaboratively in a team environment
