**About the role**

We’re all about helping our members make the most of their money. And while they go after their goals, you can too. As a **Global Mobility Specialist**, you’ll:

- Lead the development of Australian Retirement Trust’s Global Mobility and Relocation Framework.
- Partner with internal and external stakeholders to shape our global talent strategy.
- Ensure compliance with immigration laws, legal and tax regulations for international relocations.

Day to day, you'll:

- Coordinate end-to-end international assignment processes, including pre-assignment planning, relocation, on-assignment support, and repatriation.
- Develop and maintain competitive assignment packages covering compensation, benefits, and allowances.
- Liaise with immigration service providers to secure work permits and visas.
- Provide expert advice and governance on performance and reward processes across the employee lifecycle, while contributing to the design and delivery of impactful reward strategies in collaboration across the enterprise.
- Monitor and update policies in response to changes in immigration laws.
- Provide cultural training and support to help employees adapt to new environments.
- Maintain accurate records of international assignments and ensure tax and legal compliance.

**About you**

It goes without saying you'll be a great communicator with top notch interpersonal skills. We'll also expect you to pick up problems and come up with quick, creative ways to solve them. It's quite likely you tick some of the following boxes too:

- You have a strong understanding of immigration laws, tax regulations, and global mobility best practices.
- You’re experienced in developing global mobility policies and assignment packages.
- You’re highly organised and can manage multiple international assignments from start to finish.
- You work well independently, use good judgement, and know when to keep things confidential.
- You’re confident working with diverse teams and stakeholders, both locally and globally.
- You’re adaptable and flexible, able to handle changing circumstances and unexpected challenges.
- You’ve got a background in HR or Business, and maybe even a certification in Global Mobility.
- You’re familiar with the superannuation or financial services industry (bonus points).
