As a Global Mobility Senior Manager, you will lead our Global Mobility function across the ANZ and Asia regions, ensuring the delivery of AECOM’s Global Mobility Framework agenda in line with the strategic business priorities. As a member of the Global Mobility Leadership Team you will also play a key part in an ongoing Global Mobility Transformation.

You can expect to work closely with the Senior Director of Global Mobility and regional HR Directors in both ANZ and Asia, alongside engaging in the following activities:
+ Working closely with the Global Mobility Senior Director, and playing an active role in the GM Leadership Team, with regard to all aspects of the ongoing GM transformation project including helping to develop new global policies for all mobility types

+ Providing advice and solutions to the many international workforce challenges that the business encounters - cross border remote working, international new hires, virtual new hires, along with international assignments and transfers.

+ Owning the GM risk and compliance strategy for the ANZ and Asia regions

+ Leading domestic and international policy & process improvement efforts to support the company’s organizational goals, with a focus on streamlining activities, reducing cost, as well as improving the employee experience and quality of service.

+ Managing and reviewing vendor partners performance (e.g. Expat Tax, Immigration, Removalists, Relocation Agent, Insurance Brokers, and Expat data providers).

+ Overseeing the full assignment cycle mobilization and repatriation process, to include working with Operations, HR Shared Services and local HR to drive succession and repatriation planning processes to ensure effective and timely placement.

+ Partnering with the talent teams to co-create effective talent mobility frameworks

+ Engaging in regular training for the ANZ and Asia HR teams to ensure awareness and understanding of latest processes and policies from both a mobility and immigration perspective

Minimum Requirements

In order to be considered for our Global Mobility Senior Manager opportunity, we are ideally looking for the following attributes and skillsets:
+ Bachelor's degree or similar in HR, Business Administration or related discipline, or strong and proven background in Global Mobility advisory in both an in-house and professional services capacity.

+ Proven experience in developing and optimizing processes and international assignment policies and practices, including a segmented assignment policy approach.

+ Significant experience within a Global Mobility function in both ANZ and Asia.

+ Proven experience and highly confident capability in tax risk and jurisdictional legislation, including tax residency, P.E. and bi-lateral agreements.

+ Strong knowledge of employment and expatriate tax and immigration laws across the ANZ and Asia regionsStrong decision making, critical thinking and analytical skills in addition to the ability to negotiate and influence with a collaborative style across multiple regions and cultures.

+ Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.

+ Significant experience in working in a multi-cultural environment.

Preferred Qualifications

+ Proven experience of leading and developing a team of specialist advisors.

+ Demonstrable network of contacts in the external market with regular participation in external conferences, seminars and special interest groups.
