We are rapidly building a reputation for growth and success based on an exceptional "YES WE CAN" customer service offering and quality product in the highly competitive market. **About the Role** Due to growth of our business we currently have an opportunity for a **Plant Operator** to operate the CO2 plant, undertake QA checks, load transport containers and assist with maintenance tasks. This role is based in our **Bomaderry Branch** **Benefits** - Full time, permanent position - Rewards & Recognition program - Work for an essential service for financial security - Immediate start - Full Uniform **Key Responsibilities**: - Carrying out daily checks of Bomaderry CO2 Plant - Assisting in Maintenance tasks when required - Carrying out batch testing on final product - Operating Plant and Fault finding - On-Call roster alternating with Operations Manager - Loading Third Party Tankers and vessels. - Embody the ‘Yes We Can’ ethos in all aspects of the role and responsibilities - Basic data entry and reporting - Adapt, promote and encourage a Safety-First approach - Ensure a safe workplace for all staff and customers in accordance with the Quality and Safety Management Systems by; - Have a clear understanding of the Safety Management System and ensure that all personnel under the control of this position have been trained in its operation. - Ensure that all work both on and offsite are done using the permit system. - Be prepared to, as required by the business, be available for work at other branches, whether they be local or interstate. - Ensure all contractors operate with all Supagas safety rules and permits - Assist in ensuring that all spare parts are stored, catalogued and that spare parts are replenished as soon as they are used - Assist in ordering and re-ordering of parts/spare parts for maintenance, installations or breakdowns - Proactively walking the floor and undertaking daily checks to ensure reliability of equipment. - General understanding of gases, gas production and cylinder filling. - Forklift Licence is required. - Has a technical orientation. This involves the theoretical understanding of gas production and gas processes. - Has the capacity to take strong, decisive action in response to business performance issues prioritising safety. - Must have the drive to achieve and the ability to persuade and influence others Most importantly at Supagas we value **attitude **above all else.
