Health & Safety Advisor
- Western Sydney Location
- Contract position - 4 to 5 months

Are you an experienced Health & Safety Advisor seeking an exciting opportunity? Join our client, an international engineering services company that offers a range of services, including machinery installation, relocation, and industrial equipment assembly. They are currently building a major warehouse Fit-Out project in Western Sydney. We are looking for a highly qualified individual to oversee and enhance our health and safety practices throughout the project.

**Main Duties**
Your responsibilities will be:

- Develop and implement comprehensive health and safety programs for the warehouse fit-out project.
- Ensure compliance with mechanical, electrical, and H&S system safety standards.
- Conduct regular site inspections and audits to identify and mitigate potential hazards related to the fit-out process.
- Provide expert advice and guidance to project teams on health and safety matters.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to promote a strong safety culture and ensure adherence to regulations during the fit-out.
- Conduct incident investigations and implement corrective actions as necessary for fit-out-related incidents.
- Deliver relevant training and workshops to promote safety awareness among personnel involved in the fit-out.

**Requirement**
- Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations and sharp auditing acumen - a keen eye for compliance.
- Strong administrative skills, able to write, review and revise safety documents such as SWMS and procedures.
- Sound legislative knowledge such as ISO9001-accredited business
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with project teams and stakeholders involved in the fit-out.
- Ability to conduct thorough inspections, audits, and incident investigations related to the fit-out process.
- Have a degree, diploma or relevant certificate in Health and Safety such as Cert IV safetycertificate, or others.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build strong relationships internally as well as externally.
- Excellent skills in time management, planning, communication and organizing along with the ability to positively influence improved Health and Safety Outcomes.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team and can provide practical solutions to a problem.
