Qantas Ground Services is a wholly owned subsidiary of Qantas Airways and we’re responsible for providing ground handling services to the Qantas Group, including baggage handling, ramp services, fleet presentation, and warehouse freight handling.

You will provide ramp services to meet the needs of our customers who are travelling across Australia and the globe. Working in a fast-paced, outdoor operational environment, you will provide all ground services required for aircraft operations including, load and unload of aircraft, baggage handling, fleet presentation and other tasks as assigned, all while operating a range of specialised equipment. With safely as our first priority, you’ll read and interpret hazardous material identification labels and aircraft loading manifests as well as baggage and cargo routing tags. You’ll work around aircraft, have plenty of fun, meet amazing people and have experiences like no other.

An a casual you will have an opportunity to work around your availability and receive casual loading & shift penalties on top of base rates

You’ll have
- Recent experience in a manual handling or physical role, within a fast paced operational environment- A passion for safety and working within OH&S guidelines at all times- Ability to work effectively within a team- A hard working nature and a positive ‘can do’ attitude- The ability to repetitively lift items up to 32 kgs in weight- A current and valid full state or territory driver’s license
