**About this role**:
Direct Focus Solutions (DFS) is looking to recruit additional support workers to deliver in-person services to clients and NDIS participants throughout Wollongong and the Illawarra.

**Requirements**:

- Personal Care, Disability, Community Services, or Aged Care qualifications and/or experience.
- The ability to reliably commute to, and work within, the communities of their supported clients.
- Knowledge of personal care supports and the safe delivery of medication.
- Experience with NDIS programs and participants.
- The ability to attend sleepover and/or afternoon shifts for clients as required.
- Experience working with complex clients.
- Computer literacy to interact successfully with our client management system.
- A driver’s license and have reliable access to a vehicle prior to employment.

Successful applicants will be required to:

- Facilitate supports for clients of all ages and abilities and guide them to participate in activities within their homes and the community.
- Be flexible in accordance with the specific needs of our clients. This will include the ability to complete afternoon and/or overnight sleepover shifts as required for clients with personal care needs.
- Successfully support clients with complex needs as required.
- Collaborate as part of a team and work with a diverse range of clients.

DFS is prepared to support individuals to obtain the following checks as a further condition of their employment:

- Working With Children Check (WWCC)
- NDIS Worker’s Check (NDISWC)
- Police Check

Pay: From $38.00 per hour

Supplementary Pay:
