**Your new company**
You will be joining a well-known Independent School in Northern Sydney as the Accounts Payable Supervisor in a small and forward-thinking finance team. The organisation pride themselves on their “profit for purpose” vision and have a progressive outlook to modernising their finance processes.

**Your new role**
Reporting into the Financial Controller, you will be supervising a part-time AP Officer and have an instrumental role in the development of further automation and system transformation across the accounts payable area.
You will be responsible for the following tasks:

- Full-function Accounts Payable processing
- Bank reconciliations
- Journals
- Accruals and Prepayments
- Supervision and mentoring of 1 staff member
- System improvements and projects

**What you'll need to succeed**
You will have experience in a leadership or supervisory role within an accounts team. You will have strong end-to-end Accounts Payable skills and remain someone who leads by example in a hands-on capacity. You will have strong system skills and a good working knowledge of Excel. Coming from an Education or NFP background would be highly advantageous, as would experience with TAS, Synergetic or Maze.

**What you'll get in return**
You will get a salary up to $88k + super. Free lunches are provided and parking is easily available. This is a permanent full-time role within an organisation that is constantly looking to improve processes and for their teams to lead by example.
