**Key requirements of this excellent Pricing Policy Assistant Director**:

- Provide guidance of data scope, analysis, quality assurance and visualisation for pricing and costing policy reports including strong analytical skills and the ability to synthesise and coordinate complex information.
- Ability to negotiate effectively by listening to differing views to develop a clear understanding of the issues, and to present persuasive responses.
- Ability to communicate complex and sensitive issues to influence decision-makers in writing including executive brief, working group papers and consultation papers, as well as verbally with working groups, senior management and staff.
- Ability to clearly articulate evidence-based pricing decisions for participants, providers and the disability sector in writing through the Annual Pricing Review report as well as verbally with internal and external stakeholders.
- Highly developed strategic thinking including vision, perception and evaluation skills and the ability to assess impacts, governance and compliance. Ability to develop, implement and communicate the strategic direction of the work area.
- Project guiding or leading pricing strategy and stakeholders.
- Manage key internal and external stakeholder relationships and where required will represent and negotiate in high level meetings/forums.
- Contribute to the Annual Pricing Review by considering the data, public submissions, working group consultations and the broader market impacts to inform policy development.
- Communicating complex and sensitive issues verbally and drafting issues papers to a range of audiences.
- Lead and manage the team to ensure delivery of work priorities on time and to the expected standards, building team capability and positive work culture.
