**ABOUT THE BRANCH**

COMCAR provides high quality, secure and confidential car-with-driver and other ground transport services to the Governor-General and, Prime Minister (both current and former), parliamentarians, members of the Federal Judiciary and other high office holders.

COMCAR also provides ground transport and associated support services to visiting Guests of Government such as Royalty, Heads of State, Heads of Government and other foreign dignitaries. COMCAR frequently delivers services during major international events, such as the ASEAN Special Summit, Group of Twenty meetings (G20), the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting (CHOGM) and other Ministerial forums hosted in Australia. COMCAR has a national presence, with drivers located in each state and territory.

COMCAR also supports the activities of the Australian Political Exchange Council through the provision of secretariat services to the Council. The secretariat provides support for Australian delegations travelling to other countries, manages and maintains relationships with program partners overseas; delivers programs that support the Council’s goals and the interests of the various delegations and accompanies international delegations from a variety of political and cultural backgrounds as they travel throughout Australia.

**ABOUT THE** OPPORTUNITY**

As a member of the COMCAR Team, you will lead a team of driving staff to deliver high level, customer focussed transportation services to a range of a high profile client base in New South Wales.

Core duties include:

- Leading and managing the day to day operations of the NSW Depot, ensuring the delivery of high quality and timely car-with-driver services to COMCAR clients
- Effectively managing driving staff in an environment operating 24 hours a day, seven days per week
- Effectively managing a vehicle fleet in an efficient, effective and environmentally sustainable manner
- Leading and managing the NSW Guest of Government visit program, ensuring a high level of service delivery
- Capably representing COMCAR and the Department of Finance in an official capacity, presenting confidently and professionally.

Note: This role involves regular after-hours commitments and applicants must be able to meet the flexible requirements of the position, including occasional interstate travel. Applicable allowances, flex time and overtime are payable for additional duties outside of regular hours of work, in line with the

Department of Finance Enterprise Agreement 2019
