Maintenance Coordinator

We are currently looking for a full time Sawmill Maintenance Coordinator to join our crew in Benalla.

This role reports directly to the Sawmill Manufacturing Manager and will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance program with a team of maintenance fitters, apprentice and other various support staff. This role will both plan and schedule maintenance for the sawmill, keeping both short and long term maintenance goals in mind.

Responsibilities include:

- Leading, Coordinating the Sawmill Maintenance team, including development and skills training.
- Providing hands-on technical expertise to increase and maintain plant operations / equipment.
- Ensuring compliance with Workplace Health Safety and Environment regulations
- Reporting on and maintaining plan and equipment to promote company safety and efficiency.
- Coordinate planned and breakdown maintenance activities.
- Analyse production downtime and formulate improvement plans.
- Assist in the development, scheduling and execution of shutdown plans.

To be considered for this role, you must have:

- A Mechanical or Boilermaker trade qualification and extensive experience.
- Knowledge of WHSE legislation and safe work practices.
- Strong written and verbal communications skills.
- The ability to promote and demonstrate a constant safety behaviour.

Pay: $100,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year

- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Overtime

Supplementary Pay:

- Overtime pay

**Experience**:

- Maintenance: 1 year (preferred)
- Manufacturing: 1 year (preferred)
