About the role

Living Here (Benalla) is seeking an enthusiastic and results driven Property Manager / Property Management Assistant to join our team in Benalla, VIC. As a full-time Property Manager, you will play a crucial role in managing a portfolio of residential properties, ensuring our clients receive exceptional service and our properties are well-maintained.

What you'll be doing

• Conducting property inspections and liaising with landlords and tenants to address any issues or queries
• Coordinating maintenance and repair works, and managing relationships with tradespeople
• Managing the end-to-end leasing process, including advertising vacant properties, conducting viewings, and processing applications
• Ensuring all rental payments, bonds, and documentation are accurately processed and maintained
• Providing timely and professional communication to landlords and tenants
• Staying up-to-date with relevant legislation and implementing best practices in property management
• Assisting the Property Management team with administrative tasks as required

What we're looking for

• Experience in a similar property management role, with a strong understanding of the residential leasing and property management industry
• Alternatively, candidates with administrative experience will be considered for this role
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with clients
• Exceptional organisational and time management skills, with the ability to multi-task and prioritise effectively
• Proficient in using property management software and general office applications
• Experience with PropertyTree property management software is required
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
• A valid driver's licence and reliable vehicle - manual vehicle available for use.
• Real Estate licensing or Certificate IV in Property Services (or equivalent) is highly desirable
• Australian work rights are required for this position
