Our Client are market leaders internationally in their field. They are a Microsoft gold partner and have a team of talented technologist working across the globe. With their key development team based out of Brisbane, an opportunity to grow their team has presented itself and so they are looking for a lead.Net developer to join them on a permanent basis, working from their well appointed offices in Fortitude Valley.

In this role you will work as a.Net Technical Lead as part of a great team, working with this company's cloud software hosted on Azure. This role will be 75% hands on coding and 25% focus on best practice from a development perspective, taking time to grow & mentor the existing team to ensure they are able to deliver the best outcomes possible.

**Responsibilities**:

- Building software leveraging.Net and Azure
- Liaising with stakeholders in the business to understand their requirements
- Work with other developers to identify areas of technical improvement within the system and strive for best practice and best technical outcomes
- Collaborate with the software architect to ensure software development plans are aligned with architectural strategy
- Assist in the development of production test procedures

**Requirements**:

- 5 + years of development experience in.NET
- Ability to support and train junior team members
- Demonstrated experience in relational databases such as MS SQL
- Demonstrated experience in document databases such as Redis and MongoDb
- Demonstrated experience with messaging services such as Azure Service bus / Kafka
- Demonstrated experience with automated testing
