The Disability Homes Victoria unit within Homes Victoria has been created to develop a standalone function responsible for owning, managing and renewing the department's Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA) in accordance with National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) and departmental requirements. The overall objective is to provide safe and secure homes to people with a complex disability. The Disability Homes Victoria unit manages over 800 Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA) properties across Victoria, which are home to around 3100 people with a disability.
An exciting and rewarding opportunity exists within the Tenancy Operations team to contribute to tenancy management function as one of largest SDA providers in Victoria within Homes Victoria. Working to the Principal Adviser, Tenancy Operations, the Project Officer will be using the Housing integrated information Program (HiiP) to establish and implement lease out processes to create SDA residency agreements for residents, while also managing other lease out functionality, such as rent collection, data migration and rental arears, oversee any dishonour payments and work with key stakeholders to rectify, oversee SDA claiming processes and provide administrative support to the team and contribute to HiiP enhancement opportunities.
As part of a small, dynamic fast-paced team you will work closely with both internal and external key stakeholders.
ACCOUNTABILITIES INCLUDE

- Involve in Housing Integrated Information System (HiiP) process and responsible for resident and property related data entries in HiiP and provide support to team members.
- Involve in management of property data and ensure accuracy of the data.
- Provide expert advice on the quality, accuracy and relevance of data.
