- Reference My client is a national steel company based in Melbourne that is seeking an experienced Internal Sales Representative to join our sales team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for generating new sales leads, managing customer relationships, and providing exceptional customer service to increase sales revenue. You will work closely with our sales team to ensure customer satisfaction and achieve sales targets.

**Responsibilities**:
Manage existing customer accounts and ensure customer satisfaction by addressing their needs and concerns.

Prepare and submit quotes, orders, and other documents to customers in a timely and accurate manner.

Coordinate with other departments, such as production and logistics, to ensure on-time delivery of orders and resolve any issues that may arise.

Attend sales meetings and training sessions to develop your skills and knowledge in the steel industry.

Work closely with the sales team to achieve sales targets and increase revenue.

Develop a thorough understanding of the steel industry, including products, services, and competitors.

Build strong relationships with customers and provide exceptional customer service.

Assist with the development of sales strategies and campaigns to increase sales revenue.

Collaborate with the marketing team to promote products and services to customers.

Keep accurate records of customer interactions and sales activity in the CRM system.

**Requirements**:

- 2-3 years of experience in sales, preferably in the steel or related industry.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Strong attention to detail and time management skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software.

Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.

Knowledge of the steel industry is a plus but not required.

Ability to travel occasionally for customer visits and trade shows.
