**The role**:
The Principal Consultant is responsible for leading enterprise-level Cloud and Infrastructure projects, promoting Cloud and Infrastructure engagements, building a sales pipeline of engagements, building and maintaining relationships with clients, and developing junior peers in the practice.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Leading the development and implementation of platform engineering solutions. This involves designing, implementing, and managing enterprise-level platforms to ensure they are efficient, secure, reliable, and meet the requirements.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, which will involve driving business growth, and identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.
- Leveraging Azure services to design and implement scalable, secure, and efficient cloud platforms. This includes using Azure DevOps for CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure-as-code templates.
- Implementing Terraform for multi-cloud infrastructure provisioning and management. This includes, writing and maintaining configurations, managing and state files.
- Implementing and managing Bicep platform solutions.

**What skills and experience you bring**:

- A minimum of 5 years’ experience as lead consultant in a system integrator or similar organisation delivering enterprise-level technical IT consulting and service delivery.
- Expert knowledge of DevOps and DevSecOps practices, Azure DevOps and GitHub Enterprise, infrastructure-as-code tools, primarily Bicep and Terraform.
- Experience with designing and developing enterprise-level platform engineering solutions, Microsoft’s Cloud Adoption Framework and Microsoft’s Well-Architected Framework
- Demonstrable expert technical skills/understanding and experience of Microsoft Azure Cloud technologies, particularly with respect to all infrastructure services.
