An AP Officer role in a profitable and stable global business based in the CBD with an excellent salary on offer.

**Your Opportunity**

You'll join a leading, global organisation based in the CBD and report to a Senior Accountant who will provide you with training and ongoing development as an Accounts Payable Officer.

This role gives you exposure to the workings of a large business and you will build relationships both internal and external. The company is highly stable and profitable giving you excellent job security.

You will be involved in several duties which will include the following:

- Processing of day-to-day accounts payable transactions to ensure that payments are made accurately and on time, which includes responding to all AP enquiries requested from Business Partners and suppliers.
- Validate that the transactions comply with financial policies/ procedures and delegation of authority.
- Process outgoing payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures
- Facilitate urgent payment of invoices & bank transfers.
- Take ownership of AP Audits and ensure liaison with internal/external auditors for verification of payments.
- Aid Financial Controllers and Accountants for bank / cash flow related requirements.
- Liaison with banks/Financial Institution for transactional banking, credit cards, other facility as needed.
- Manage transactions for expense reimbursement and reconciliation of credit card transactions.
- Vendor liaison/troubleshooting, reconciliation and handling internal and external correspondence when required. Also coordinates with various departments for passing of invoices.
- Strengthen and grow relationships with business partners by resolving their queries and support them where required.
- Work with seniors to streamline and improve the accounts payable and expenses disbursement processes.
- Investigate discrepancies and recommend actions to resolve them.

**You & Your Experience**:
We're looking for someone highly capable and willing to continue to learn. We need you to have at least 2 years' experience performing in an AP role.
- Minimum of 2 years in an Accounts Payable role
- Confident with Excel
- Be a confident and articulate communicator.
- Excellent client / customer skills
- Ability to prioritise your workload.
