**Your opportunity**

In this exciting role, you'll undertake a comprehensive training program designed to equip you with the skills and knowledge needed to operate our trains safely and efficiently. You'll learn everything from operational procedures and route knowledge to customer service excellence. As a Trainee Driver you will play an important role in connecting Queensland and our Communities. Upon successful completion of training, you’ll be a Mayne Sector Qualified Train Driver.

**What you'll do**:

- Commit to actively participating in theoretical and practical training modules to become a qualified Locomotive Driver.
- Contribute to the safe and efficient running of Queensland Rail's services.
- Deliver exceptional customer service through clear communication and teamwork.
- Connect with other staff in the safe operation of trains.
- Contribute to the proper care and maintenance of our equipment.
