The Technology Risk Manager - Regulatory is directly engaged to support management with regard to Regulatory reviews, issues registration and controls environment.

In this position, the Technology Risk Manager - Regulatory will have a deep understanding of the ING business model, risk & control governance and Technology Regulatory compliance landscape. They will have a working knowledge of Tech controls (including SOX controls) and Tech issues to support and assist management in managing these on day to day basis. They will guard corporate governance by ensuring on a continuous basis that risk accountability and responsibility are assigned to the correct roles within the organisation. If necessary, the Technology Risk Manager - Regulatory can challenge and engage with senior management in maintaining focus around these areas and corporate governance.

The Technology Risk Manager - Regulatory, employs a holistic overview of the entity to measure and determine which key IT risk areas require improvements. In this position, the Technology Risk Manager - Regulatory is responsible for the upkeep of the new tech issues for the CIO organisation in our GRC tool to maintain tracking of ongoing issue and assisting in managing Tech Regulatory Reviews. The Manager engages with stakeholders across the organisation on need basis to support these activities.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assisting Team with managing Tech Regulatory Compliance commitments
- Working with stakeholder to finalize outcomes coming out from these Regulatory reviews, assist & co-ordinating collating update on need basis whenever there is ask from Regulators
- Managing issues coming out of any Internal/External audit, Regulatory Reviews to be logged in ING GRC tools with all the required info
- Monitoring timely completion of issues registration in GRC.
- Aligning all the issues coming out of Audit and Reviews with existing controls in GRC systems
- Assist management in providing some oversight for Key controls and SOX controls.
- Keep track of any actions given to KCT and SOX team testers and make sure those are being addressed
- Validation of invoices and timesheet from our offshore Tech Risk support partners and any follow up required

Key Skills:

- Strong experience in understanding of Technology controls in financial institutions and SOX 404
- Knowledge around Technology Regulatory Compliance & Obligation landscape (CPS 234, CPS20, SOCI etc.)
- Experience as Tech Risk Manager with at least 5 years in risk areas that are relevant for Tech Risk Management, or equivalent.
- Knowledge of Banking and relevant External Regulations, processes, procedures and systems.
- Strong collaboration skills and ability to work across both functional and geographical lines
- Strong ability to earn trust and respect of stakeholders
