About the Role

In this position, you will report to the Senior Manager, Technology Risk. This is an exciting opportunity to support the development of the Line 1 Risk and Control Advisory support model for the Technology function within Hollard.

Key Responsibilities include (but not limited to):

• Play a pivotal role in shaping the success of two major programs of work by leading delivered risk assessments and providing actionable insights to program leaders.
• Partner with the Technology teams to ensure proactive assessment and documentation of delivered technology risks associated with projects and change initiatives, to deliver a robust control environment.
• Support the design, implementation, and assessment of controls across the Technology function to mitigate technology risk exposures and demonstrate compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
• Development and implementation of key risk indicators and metrics for material risks within the Technology function.
• Provide targeted training and guidance to uplift risk capability across Hollard.
• Collaborate with Hollard Risk Management teams (Line 2 and Line 3) to actively contribute to Risk Management initiatives and framework development.

About You

• At least 5 years' Technology Risk Management experience, ideally within the financial services industry.
• Technical knowledge in technology platforms and practices such as Cloud, databases and applications, networks, cyber security and information security.
• Knowledge of common risk strategies and frameworks used within the Australian financial services industry.
• Knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements applicable to the Australian financial services industry, as it relates to information security and cyber risk.
• Tertiary qualifications in IT, Business, Economics, Finance or Law, desirable.
• Knowledge of AS/NZS ISO 31000:2009 Risk Management standards as well as other technology risk standards and frameworks such as COBIT, COSO, ISO 27000, NIST and ITIL.
