Are you an experienced and skilled hospitality manager looking for an exciting opportunity? Look no further We have a rare opening for a Duty/Venue Manager at BMD Northcliffe Surf Club, one of the best Surf Clubs in Australia.

**Work/Life Balance**: Enjoy a favourable 4-day on 4-day off roster, providing an enviable work/life balance. Our 8-week roster cycle ensures you work only 26 weekends out of 52 each year. Say goodbye to working every weekend, unpaid overtime and unfair salary arrangements.

**Attractive Compensation**: Get paid for every hour worked with overtime rates for every minute over your 38 hour weekly average. In addition to your base salary you'll receive all relevant allowances and penalty rates leading to a predicted annual income of at least $70k-$75k, depending on overtime worked.

**The Club and Its Offerings**: BMD Northcliffe Surf Club boasts an inviting and freshly renovated space catering to over 5,000 customers weekly with over than 13,000 members. Our venue includes a large bistro, a fully weatherproof outdoor deck, a generous bar with fresh wine on tap and Balter XPA tank beer, KENO, a large TAB area and a beautifully designed gaming room with 49 machines.

Your Role: Reporting to the Club Manager and alongside other managers, you will oversee all aspects of the venue including the restaurant, gaming room and bar. This is a hands-on role that requires strong leadership skills and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum of 4 years of management experience in a busy hospitality environment with experience in gaming, bar and restaurant operations
- Strong customer focus and a genuine passion for hospitality
- Excellent problem-solving and prioritisation skills, thriving under pressure
- Outstanding communication skills and financial acumen with experience in wage control and cash reconciliation
- Proactive and attentive to guest needs with the ability to motivate and encourage the team to deliver exceptional service and drive sales
- Positive attitude to help foster a strong team culture
- Exceptional attention to detail and high standards of presentation
- Excellent people skills to manage a range of personalities effectively
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges
- RSA and RSG certification are essential with RMLV certification an advantage
- Previous Club or Hotel experience is highly favourable
