Meat Process Worker

**Meat Process Worker & Factory Assistant**:
Established in 2021, The Pet Food People is a proudly independent, family-owned business, specialising in all natural pet meals and healthy treats with two busy retail outlets as well as a successful online store

Opportunities currently exist within our factory, located in Mordialloc for experienced meat processors, and general labourers for ongoing casual positions with full-time prospects. (Award wage rates, 4-5 days per week, 6:00am to 2:00pm)

**To be successful in this role you will be expected to have**:

- Previous experience working in a similar position (experience in meat, pet food manufacturing will be an advantage)
- An ability to lift 15 - 20 Kg comfortably and frequently
- Operation of meat processing equipment and machinery
- Clean and sterilize work areas
- Weighing, Packing, Labelling, Boxing products
- Your own transport including a valid Driver's Licence
- Excellent personal presentation and good communication skills
- Commit to working safely and following procedures in a physical job
- Have your own PPE inc. safety shoes and appropriate High-Visibility Work Wear
- Pass Random Drug tests

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent, Casual, Temp to perm
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: $32.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24 - 40 per week
