**The Opportunity**:
Minda has a rare opportunity for an experienced and suitably qualified Café Team Leader to oversee a team of hospitality staff within Minda’s busy and growing Inc Cafe. The role will lead day to day Café operations to ensure high food quality and presentation standards are delivered, and that Cafe patrons enjoy high levels of service.

The role is predominantly day shift casual hours, however, some weekend and evening work may be required.

**Key Responsibilities**:
Reporting to the Catering Manager, the Café Team Leader will:

- Oversee café operations and the provision of quality meals and customer service.
- Provide leadership and guidance to service staff, delegating tasks as required.
- Assist to develop contemporary menu options and maintain attractive food displays.
- Maintain relevant administration and record keeping, and ensure compliance with food safety and quality standards.
- Ensure a positive and upbeat café vibe, with a reputation for quality service, by acting as a role model and leader to others.

**Essential Requirements**:

- Leadership experience in hospitality, preferably in a cafe and/or restaurant environment.
- Sound knowledge of food quality and safety standards.
- Great attention to detail for food presentation and flavour.
- Barrista skills.
- Ability to maintain composure in a fast-paced setting.
- Positive and friendly outlook with a creative mindset, and genuine passion for customers and community.

**Desirable**:

- Qualifications in food handling and/ or food hygiene.

**Other**:

- NDIS Workers Screening Clearance.
- Current and unrestricted South Australian Driver’s Licence.
- Up to date vaccinations against Covid-19 (2+ booster).
