We are seeking experienced Disability Support Workers in and around Melbourne CBD and the following outer suburbs:
- Eastern Suburbs
- Northern Suburbs
- Western Suburbs
- South - Eastern Suburbs
**To be considered for this fantastic opportunity, the following skills and experience are highly desirable**:
- Personal Care - Assistance with showering and personal hygiene
- Manual Handling experience - hoist transfers
- Household and Domestic duties - including cleaning and cooking
- Supporting healthy routines and skill development
- Manage complex and challenging behaviors and be able to implement PBSP strategies when needed
- Keep accurate and complete records of activities / goals via progress notes
- Clear and effective communication skills and ability to establish a professional relationship with participants, their families and co-workers
- Work within the NDIS Code of Conduct
- Community Access - Including taking participants into the community, social outings, appointments etc
- Mental health experience
- Autism experience

**Mandatory Requirements**:
- Car and valid Australian driver's license
- Vehicle insurance policy and proof of car registration
- Well spoken and written English
- **Must** have NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Working with Childrens Check - as required
- Completed NDIS Orientation Module
- Current FA & CPR Certificates
- Cert IV Disability or other relevant qualifications
- Must have at least 1 year experience
- Previous experience working with complex clients highly desirable.
- Ability to start immediately
