**Position Overview**:
The Principal Solution Designer position is a game changing role for Diligent. This role is for someone who is experienced in the GRC market and will be responsible for designing the go-to-market strategy for specific segments and/or regions aligned to Diligent's vision. This position is responsible for understanding the local market trends, client needs and behaviors and local competitors and then adapting the global Diligent solution set to the local market need to drive client bookings.

Collaboration is the name of the game for this role. This person will bring the outside market view into the organization and will be collaborating cross-functionally with product marketing, corporate marketing, product, sales, and enablement to win more, faster. Agility is a mandatory skill. This role will create the right go to market strategy that moves with the local market to ensure Diligent is one step ahead and is the trusted, go-to partner for clients.

This role will be incentivized to win.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Design a commercial playbook for specified segment/region that includes total market opportunity, local competitors, local partners, sales plays and product bundles to win.
- Collaborate with product marketing & product to design the solution bundles aligned to market opportunity.
- Leverage regional/segment centric pain points and competitive analysis and help sales teams to positively
- Differentiate our Diligent One offering from regional and global competitors - and help Diligent win.
- Create the product demo for bundles and collaborate with sales enablement to train the commercial team on how to demo/pitch.
- Identify local partners, influencers and association to build brand, influence pipeline, and drive bookings.
- Provide regular feedback to product & product marketing on functionality needed to win locally.
- Collaborate with field marketing to build the targeted client/prospect lists, create content, and design marketing campaigns.
- Collaborate closely with the internal legal team to align on regulatory positions and strategies that create risk[1]based solutions for our customers in support of our business goals.
- Partner with commercial leaders sharpen sales pitches, market knowledge and processes to win.
- Understand why we win/lose for the segment/region and pivot strategy to win.
- Create toolkit to support sales plays an bundles for commercial and marketing teams.
- Lead enablement sessions and energize the commercial team to win.

**Required Experience/Skills**
- 10+ years of governance, risk, audit, ESG and/or compliance experience
- Ability to build relationships internally and work with key stakeholders and leaders in product management,
- sales and customer success to define and execute on product marketing strategy
- Able to easily assess the base, understand the market size, define market share, identify segments, and
- exploit opportunities to grow business and increase market share
- Positive, energetic attitude and initiative, with strong work ethic
- Strong interpersonal and project management skills
- Excellent content writing and campaign management skills
- You will have a strong understanding of SaaS-based solutions and product marketing best practices and have
- a passion for technology. Working closely with the Marketing, Product Management, Enablement, Sales and
- Customer Success teams, you are comfortable in a rapidly growing environment that demands a combination of product understanding, exceptional storytelling and positioning skills, and the ability to interface across multiple functions in the organization.
