Flying Bark is on the hunt for an experienced Producer to work in their Sydney Studio

The Producer is responsible for the overall running and final delivery of designated Program/s. You will be directly responsible to the investors and/or client, as well as the Production Company management team to deliver the Program/s in accordance with the Budget and Production Schedule while adhering to the highest of industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

- Ensuring that the production elements for the Program/s are completed within budget, according to the various production schedules for the project, and in cooperation with partners, clients, investors and distributors, while maintaining high industry standards both creatively and technically;
- Closely manage the Line Producer/s, ensuring they follow Production Company approved production practices for planning, budgeting, cost tracking, crew management, scheduling and creative, technical and third party contracting;
- Have oversight over and give guidance on key production planning, budgeting, and cost tracking;
- Attend cost report meetings for designated projects in development, production and post-production and offer constructive solutions for cost savings and efficiencies;
- Attend all high-level development, production, strategic, creative and operational meetings as required;
- Mentor and support Production Crews, providing guidance and instruction as required, acting as a sounding board and point of contact;
- Manage the creative expectations of all key stakeholders and clients, along with the Director and Executive Producer/s;
- Manage the Supervising team and conduct performance reviews as required with the Line Producer and Artist Manager;
- Take all reasonable steps to ensure Program/s are being produced in accordance with the requirements of principal investment or service agreements and broadcast licence agreements;
- Ensure Program/s comply with the regulations of any relevant government bodies, including without limitation the PDV and Producer tax offset (as applicable);
- Establish and maintain a positive team working environment, promoting team building activities and a constructive, collaborative attitude toward problem solving;
- Represent the Production Company within the animation industry as a senior member of staff, embodying a professional and positive image at all times;

Pay: $115,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
