Catering Attendant X2

Vanilla Blue is an award-winning corporate caterer, providing nourishing meals to clients across Sydney. We are looking for 2 casual **Catering Attendants** to join our fast-paced and well-organised Partie-based kitchen team.

**About this role**:

- 2 positions available:

- **Morning shifts** between 4am-10am
- **Afternoon shifts**between 2pm - 8pm
- $32.50 - $35 per hour + superannuation
- Monday to Friday, generally no weekend work
- 15 - 20 hours per week, depending on the needs of the business
- Section support on sandwich, pastry and cold sections
- _**Must have own vehicle (public transport will not be operating for 4am start)**_

**Job Responsibilities and Duties**:

- Prepare fresh ingredients through basic cutting and food preparation
- Support smooth operations by assisting with labeling, picking, and packing
- Present dishes beautifully, demonstrate a great eye for detail, quality control, and flair for presentation
- Maintain a tidy workspace by readily cleaning and tidying work area
- Multitask and perform effectively within established kitchen systems
- Works independently and accurately, follow instructions with precision
- Contribute positively to the team by being punctual, reliable, and communicating well

**To be successful in the role**:

- Own transport to start work at 4am if required
- Minimum of 6 months experience in a similar role
- Confident working with a diverse group of people with different backgrounds
- Proven experience working in a fast and clean manner
- Current food safety certifications

This role is NOT open to sponsorship

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 - 20 per week
