IPA are working in partnership with National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA), an independent agency that is responsible for implementing the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS), which will support a better life for hundreds of thousands of Australians with a significant and permanent disability.

NDIA are looking for a Data Analyst to work within the Compliance Program Branch, which is responsible for providing the strategic and operational direction of the non-compliance to the Agency by engaging with staff, partners, participants and providers to promote good compliance practice and early intervention when non-compliance is identified.

About the role

The position will be required to undertake technical and analysis activities and tasks using available information where options are not always evident. It will be required to perform procedural, clerical, administrative and operational tasks that supports and contributes to NDIA's objectives to "build a world-leading National Disability Insurance Scheme".

Responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to:

- Extracting and producing a range of data, statistics and reports using Statistical Analysis System (SAS).
- Interpreting data for operational information and reporting purposes and submit change requests when required.
- Preparing consistent, accurate and timely scheduled and adhoc data requests.
- Assisting in the delivery of projects, performing basic research and analysis.
- Supporting detection profile development including requirements, design, testing, training, and rollout.
- Identifying opportunities for automation of frequently repeated tasks.
- Providing additional administrative support for the section when required.
