**About the role**

We are offering an opportunity for the right Support Worker to work with a male participant in Kellyville. You must have a genuine care and interest for people with disability. You must be reliable and understanding of a family's role in the care of their loved one. Please note this is a community position, not in a group home setting.

Our participant is nonverbal and experiences challenging behaviour, as well requiring support with activities of daily living.

The position would suit someone close to Kellyville and who is looking for part time hours of an evening. The shifts are Monday-Thursday 7pm-10pm.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Support managing challenging behaviours
- Monitoring a participant with medical conditions
- Track and document an individual’s progress through detailed note keeping

**Skills & Experience**
- Must have demonstrated experience supporting a complex participant with challenging behaviours.
- Must possess an appropriate qualification at the level of certificate 4 or above.
- Current Australian Drivers Licence.
- A genuine care and interest in supporting people with disability.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with the participant and his family.

Please note: Mandatory COVID-19 vaccinations are required for this position, in accordance with relevant Public Health Orders. Evidence will be requested.

**Job Type**: Casual

**Salary**: $38.00 - $44.00 per hour
