**The opportunity**
**Youth justice custodial facilities are hives of activity. There is a near-constant stream of staff, young people, contractors, educators, program providers, and personal visitors passing through the precinct every day.

As movements manager at Cherry Creek, you will take on the crucial responsibility of ensuring that the scheduling of visitor escorts through the facility is planned and executed with mínimal disruption the young people and staff.

If done well, your work will help create a safe, secure and peaceful environment that will allow the young people in our care to get the most out of their education and rehabilitative programs.

You will also:

- Lead staffing groups, including the medical escort officer and daily movements team.
- Provide employees with relevant information and access to safe systems of work.
- Prepare comprehensive written reports, briefings and presentations to inform and influence key stakeholders.
- Ensure all visits and appointments are met and appropriately aligned to young people's case plans.

**To be successful in the role, you will have an advanced knowledge of the youth justice environment and previous experience in the supervision of staff. You will also possess resilience, strong critical thinking and enjoy taking on problems to solve.**
