As the Payroll Officer for Haynes Group, you will have a key role in providing support to our employees and our payroll team.
**Payroll Officer Responsibilities**
- Ensuring all payroll transactions are processed efficiently
- Assist the payroll function with end-to-end processing of monthly, fortnightly payrolls
- Collecting, calculating, and entering data in order to maintain and update payroll information
- Experience with processing multiple entities in different states and territories
- Liaise closely with Human Resources regarding EBAs, Modern Awards, Superannuation, and general employment conditions
- Process superannuation to online clearing house and balance monthly ledger
- Reconcile general ledger accounts for payroll including posting journals and accruals
- Maintain Time and Attendance function.
- Resolving payroll discrepancies and general queries
- Maintaining payroll operations by following policies and procedures
- Developing ad hoc financial and operational reporting as needed
- Support the payroll team
**To be successful in this key role, you must demonstrate**
- Previous Payroll Experience
- Microsoft Office Suite (Intermediate Excel Skills)
- Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
- Ability to be flexible in a fast-paced work environment
- Ability to prioritise and meet strict deadlines
- Excellent communication and relationship building skills
