Payroll Officer job available in Brisbane Inner City - flexible environment
**Your new company**
This Brisbane based company that operates across the country delivers a range of services in their niche sector. They are currently seeking a Payroll Officer to join their small payroll team on a full-time permanent basis. Their offices are based in Brisbane Fortitude Valley which offers excellent public transport options and lunch time dining spots.
**Your new role**
Reporting to the Payroll Manager, you will be responsible for the following:
- Setting up new employees on the payroll systems
- Fortnightly payroll processing
- Performing payroll reconciliations
- Liaising with employees regarding payroll queries
- Assisting with terminations, allowances, and redundancies
- Assisting with payroll reporting
**What you'll need to succeed**
In order to be successful, you will meet the following requirements:
- Previous experience working in an end-to-end payroll position in a medium to high volume payroll environment
- Strong award and EBA knowledge
- Enjoys working in a collaborative small payroll team environment
- Exceptional communication skills and natural ability to build strong relationships with key stakeholders
