Adelaide Venue Management is responsible for the management of the Adelaide Convention Centre, Adelaide Entertainment Centre (AEC) and Coopers Stadium (CS). A position is available for a suitably experienced, reliable, motivated and well-presented Event Cleaning Supervisor who is looking to join a team of quality cleaning staff at the Adelaide Entertainment Centre.

Responsibilities include:

- Supervise the cleaning team to ensure all internal areas of the Centre are cleaned to a high standard, including but not limited to; Dressing Rooms, Corporate Suites, Main Arena, Auditorium, Theatre, Offices and Toilets.
- Encourage the staff to maintain a high standard of cleanliness throughout all areas in the buildings, at all times.
- Coordinate with the Operations and Functions Team for cleaning requirements during set-up and breakdown of events and functions.
- Ensuring all equipment / chemical resources are handled as per safe operating procedures.
- Ensuring all storage areas are maintained in a tidy and safe condition.
- Provide direction, leadership and support to Cleaning Staff.
- Ensure all staff undertake their designated tasks safely and effectively.

To be successful in this role you will need to be:

- Self-motivated, with a positive attitude.
- Punctual and reliable.
- Flexible in approach with the ability to assist others as required.
- Proactive and ‘solutions-focused’
- Experienced in Event Cleaning - for Major events and Venue cleaning
- Able to work to strict deadlines, with excellent problem solving abilities
- Strong attention to detail
- Proven to have supervision experience including training of staff.

Good availability and flexibility over a 7-day roster, working days, nights and weekends is paramount.
