**Responsibilities**
The Client Services Manager position at Nexia Canberra provides you with the unique opportunity to provide innovative solutions and advice to our diverse range of clients while developing your own client base through Firm contacts. The primary objective of the Client Services Manager role is to assist in managing the client base of the Partners and meet client needs by:

- Reviewing and preparing income tax returns, financial accounts, BAS’s and FBT returns.
- Preparing and providing review points to staff, ensuring that the review points are addressed appropriately prior to approval of work.
- Managing and maintaining an ongoing, positive relationship with clients, acting as the main point of contact for the Firm.
- Efficiently completing work for an expanding client base and maintaining accuracy during periods of increased workload.
- Contributing to business development efforts within the division and across the Firm by finding new avenues for fee and business growth, identifying the potential for value-add work.
- Providing ancillary business services such as overseeing payroll function, bookkeeping, and assisting with ad-hoc tax and entity structuring advice.
- Any other duties are described on the PD for this role or as required.

**Requirements**:
To be considered for this role, you will:

- Have a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting (minimum).
- Be CA/CPA qualified.
- Have suitable proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite, Xero, and MYOB
- Have a minimum of five (5) years’ experience in a professional Firm.
- Demonstrate strong problem-solving and analytical skills;
- Be a current Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident, or have a suitable working visa.

In addition, you will:

- be an enthusiastic team player;
- demonstrate effective written and oral communication skills, as well as excellent interpersonal skills;
- demonstrate a high standard of professionalism; and
- be self-motivated and autonomous in seeking out professional development opportunities.
