About the role

Job Opportunity: Maintenance Planner / Scheduler - Renewables (Wind Assets)

Location: Melbourne, VIC or Adelaide, SA.
Employment Type: Full time / Hybrid Role with travel to wind farm sites 1 week a month.

About the Role

We’re seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Maintenance Planner / Scheduler to join our Renewables team, supporting the strategic and operational goals of our Wind assets. This role is pivotal in ensuring best-practice maintenance planning and scheduling, aligning with unit outages to meet plant availability targets.

Key Responsibilities- Create and maintain realistic weekly and long-term maintenance schedules, including resource planning and contingency strategies.- Work closely with Operations, Maintenance, and Engineering teams to align planning efforts and ensure effective communication and coordination.- Prepare complete work packages with procedures, materials, and isolation requirements, ensuring the right skills and resources are matched to tasks.- Review and enhance planning processes to reduce waste and improve efficiency, while embedding safety targets into all planning activities.- Provide strategic advice to the Planning and Scheduling Manager and coordinate with external providers to meet quality, budget, and timeline expectations.

Skills & Experience- Excellent knowledge of planning and scheduling systems and maintenance practices.- Great communicator with the ability to deliver clear, timely information.- Analytical thinker with problem-solving capabilities.- Proficient in SAP and Prometheus (or similar systems).- Experience in planning/scheduling within the power or heavy industrial sectors.

Qualifications- Engineering or Trade qualification, or equivalent experience in a planner/scheduler role.
