**What You Will Be Doing**

The Allied Health Workforce Development Lead works closely with the allied health director, allied health profession heads and The Learning Hub to provide strategic direction and leadership in clinical education for Allied Health. The Allied Health Workforce Development Lead is an expert resource in education and is responsible for planning, implementing and evaluating education programs for allied health professionals, allied health assistants and students.

**What You Need**

We anticipate you will have:

- Tertiary qualifications in an allied health therapy profession.
- Current registration with AHPRA for registered professions or eligible for membership of relevant professional association for non-registered professions.
- Post graduate qualifications in education (or working towards the same).
- Extensive experience with clinical education programs including experience supervising learners (students and novice clinicians) in a relevant clinical environment.
- Demonstrated experience with the implementation and evaluation of single discipline and/or interprofessional education programs.
- Demonstrated leadership with the ability to inspire, influence and motivate staff to contribute to and foster a positive learning culture.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication, collaboration, negotiation and liaison skills.
- Excellent organisation and planning skills and demonstrated ability to meet deadlines.
- Involvement in planning and implementing new programs and/or quality improvement initiatives in healthcare settings.
- High level IT skills.

**Additional Requirements**
