We are currently seeking passionate and dedicated Disability Support Workers to join the Montessori Care team in Sydney's Inner West.

**The role**:
As a Disability Support Worker, you will provide direct support and assistance to individuals with disabilities. You will play a vital role in promoting their independence, inclusion, and overall quality of life. By combining traditional care with Montessori principles and methods, you will deliver support that truly respects each person's unique abilities and needs.

**Your responsibilities include**:

- Provide personal physical, emotional, and social care and support to individuals using a person-centred approach.
- Assist with domestic tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and chores to maintain a comfortable living environment.
- Encourage social engagement by supporting participation in social and recreational activities, community engagement and building meaningful relationships.
- Assist with household tasks, such as but not limited to bathing, dressing, grooming, meal preparation. cleaning, laundry, and shopping, to ensure a safe and comfortable living environment.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- NDIS Worker Check.
- Current First Aid and CPR certificates.
- Valid drivers licence.
- Relevant experience or qualifications in Aged Care / Disability are desirable.
- Compassion and patience for diverse needs.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
